The maintenance of such a site required a tremendous amount of pride from me.  Since pride seems to be the gateway through which other sin enters, I thought, with all due apologies to Deputy B. Fife, that I'd "nip it in the bud,"  and stop it before it endangered my soul further.  (I could go into tons more detail here, but I suspect that many readers, as mature Catholics, know what I'm talking about.)&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;2.&lt;/b&gt;  It was starting to be a place where some people felt that they could publicly criticize the Bishop of Phoenix.  In good conscience, I couldn't maintain a forum that did that.  Even though solid refutations of such criticisms of our good and holy shepherd were posted, the presence of such criticism on a site maintained by me was unacceptable.
